Shiva Mediaworks Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "Shiva Mediaworks") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
The enquiry form on this site collects: your full name, email address, business name, business website (optional), the annual revenue range you select, the service category you select, and the free-text description of the problem you'd like us to look at. The form is hosted by Netlify; submissions transit through Netlify's infrastructure to reach us.
If you email us directly, we hold whatever you choose to include in that correspondence.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate visitor behaviour (pages viewed, time on site, country and city at a regional level, device type). We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.
What we do with it
We use the information you submit to scope and respond to your enquiry, to send the written scoping response we promise, and — if we proceed to engagement — to deliver the agreed work and invoice for it. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who else sees it
Enquiry submissions are stored in Netlify and accessible to the founder of Shiva Mediaworks. We may use a small number of trusted service providers (for example, email hosting, accounting software, and document storage) to operate the business. Those providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and may store data outside Australia.
We will only disclose your information without your consent if required to do so by Australian law.
Storage and security
We hold information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and for as long as Australian record-keeping rules require. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email shshank@shivamediaworks.com. We will respond within thirty days.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for two purposes: to make the site work (essential cookies) and to measure aggregate behaviour through Google Analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
